CharterWest Bank is immediately seeking to fill a Full-Time Bilingual Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant position located in Norfolk, NE.

Job Summary:

The Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) position will be responsible for assisting loans officers and being a receptionist.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist mortgage loan officer with loan files and related documentation.
  • Greeting customers when entering
  • Answer customer phone calls and assist with follow-ups.
  • Comply with bank policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Must be fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Competence with computers, telephone systems, 10-key calculator and other office equipment.
  • The ability to work effectively as a team member in a fast-paced environment.
  • Careful attention to detail and time management.

Required Education:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
